No dress code, eclectic sounds, cheap drinks and fantastic Spanish and World tapas – eat from the special tapas menu between five and seven on a weekday evening and the price you pay is the time you arrive – make it a favourite among the city’s cognoscenti. Meanwhile the dazzling selection of world beers should keep the most demanding dipsomaniac satisfied. What’s more, while other venues in the neighbourhood increasingly play host to townie drinkers and two-for-one vodka BAR de NADA is a friendly, locally run, bar/eatery on the corner of Broad Street and Lower Parliament Street. Tapas is served Mon-Sat till 9.30pm in an informal and spacious environment. The menu is an interesting mix of classic tapas with a handful of well chosen world tapas, adding vibrancy to proceedings and stop it being just another tapas experience. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians making a welcome change from traditional meat dominated tapas menus.
